As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 8,813 reflecting an increase of 1,596 (+22.1%) from the 7,217 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,213 (+20.2%) from the 6,004 counted in the 1990 Census.

Recently, I was at a restaurant and had a very good IPA. When I looked up the brewery, I found it was close by in Mt. Holly and wanted to stop by. The brewery is in an industrial space. Nice tasting room, flights available, growlers, canned beer, etc. Do not thinkthey have food, but most places let you order in.
Loved the Peach IPA! The Cherry Belgian Tripel was also very good!

The Rancocas Nature Center is situated on a 210 acre piece of the Rancocas State Park, and features 3 miles of hiking trails through varied habitats including meadows, forest, and wetlands. Picnic tables are available near our building, but please carry in/carry out only. The Nature Center has been operating since 1977 and has been providing environmental education for the surrounding community during that time, presenting programs both on and off-site for groups including schools, scouts, libraries, senior citizens, as well as the general public.

I hadn't been to the Rancocas Nature Center since my 26 year old daughter was a Brownie Girl Scout.
This past Sunday, my husband and I were looking for some place relatively nearby to go walking in the woods, and we wound up at the Rancocas Nature Center, which has about three miles of trails, including some boardwalk areas that would be wheelchair accessible. I took 82 pictures, so obviously there were some great views, especially on the orange trail that goes along the water.
About a half mile from the parking near the building the trail joins the trails in Rancocas State Forest. Because we got a late start, we only went about a half mile into Rancocas State Park, but we definitely will come back again.
The center itself has some interesting displays as well as enthusiastic volunteers. I saw online a variety of programs offered, including for pre-schoolers.
Some picnic tables are available outside the center. Bathrooms are available inside the center, when it is open.
The center closes at 4, the trails close at 5, and the gate is locked a half hour after dusk. Not sure exactly when that would be!!
There are places to leave donations, but there is no entry fee for the Rancocas Nature Center. It would be a nice family trip. Definitely recommended!

What a great park. This is 115 acres on the Rancocas Creek with a forest and a freshwater pond. There is a short trail that goes over the pond. This park offers hiking, biking, fishing and picnicking. There is a play ground and several picnic pavilions. The picnic pavilions can also be rented. There are also flush toilets. It is nestled off the bi-pass.

Stopped into John and Molly's for Lunch. Was with a buddy for lunch. Our waitress Courtney was great. I asked her what the best thing they sold was. She said its all good but her favorites are the Ribs and Chicken Parm. I went with the Chicken Parm. Delicious. Thin cutlets sauce on a great roll. I substituted Onion Rings for fries and the were great to. They have loads of beer and since this was lunch during work we went with Non Alcoholic Beverages. My buddy had the Beef sandwich with Au Juice. really good also. Give it a shot glad we did.

Beautiful waterfront park with easy walking trails. Well maintained boardwalks and observation decks on the creek. "Blinds" are not as suitable as I think they meant them to be. Cutouts are designed for taller and shorter people, but if you are in-between, it can be uncomfortable to try and watch any wildlife for very long. Lots of different habitat for birds and other wildlife. Nicely maintained bathrooms are an asset. Good place for seniors to walk as the paths are smooth and level; great place for young children to ride bikes and run around safely. Very family friendly.

The place is really great: attractive, inviting, comfortable. (clean restrooms!) The Ale I had was great. They have outdoor seating. There are places nearby that will deliver food (until the law changes and allows breweries to sell food). The bar staff are very friendly. Sometimes that have music, (blues, maybe other genres too).

Third time here. Every seat is satisfactory. Theater is small and cozy, acoustics were good both prior visits. Not hard to get tickets a few weeks in advance. Price is fair and inexpensive compared to NYC.Hope to see you again soon! Thanks so much for the great review.

I have done everything here - from attending large picnics. To group sports days for adults. Lunch outside, Festivals, and lots of fun with granddaughter from the little kiddie section to the bigger kids section over the years. Riding bikes around paths and sailing little batter boats... Mt. LAurel does have a gem in this park.

Loved touring this museum with the folks. Lots of history (did you know that the Burlington County Prison hosted the Boston Strangler when he was just the Mount Holly Molester?), plus you can walk through the cells and take as many "oh noooo, I am in prison" photos as you want. ...And later feel bad about it, when you learn about the people who were executed here.
Lots of neat prison-themed merchandise in the gift shop, too (I picked up a t-shirt for 10 bucks.)

Rancocas State Park is strikingly beautiful, has no entrance fee and offers good hiking trails well marked and organized. The most scenic hikes are along the North Branch of the Rancocas Creek. Entrance at the end of Deacon Road is the favorite for the bicycle riders. The best organized are Blue, Red, Green and Orange Trails. The loop is 4.44 Miles. You can combine the trails for longer walks and rides. It seems to be a favorite place for runners as well. Rancocas Nature center organizes summer camps, nature walks and other programs. Fishing is allowed and there is canoe and fishing access to the Rancocas Creek. Equestrian Trails are also popular. The forest is beautiful, landscape is interesting. It is really worth the trip. You are sure to have a lot of fun. Rancocas State Park - Hainesport can be accessed via Deacon Road or Rancocas Avenue Entrances.
