State create it, for power generation by the hydro energy. Great views and mountains and great local food on taverns.

Port of Killini

Reviewed By sweettea4me2016 - Cairo, Egypt

Everyone at the port was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction to embark our ferry. We booked our ferry online with Ionian Group. There were not any signs to tell us exactly where to embark. There was only one ferry in the port 15 minutes before departure time and it was not our ferry. I recommend that you go to the ticketing window even if you have your tickets to make sure you have the right name of the ship (the name of our ship changed at another port). I was told that the name of the ship is very important if you do not want to miss the boat. The ticketing office will point you in the right direction. Then show your tickets to the port authority or crew members and ask them to point you in the right direction. Ionian Group told us to arrive one hour before departure but there were lots of people who did not arrive until the last minute and people in the Trip Advisor forum told us to arrive 20-30 minutes before departure. Our ferry arrived about 10 minutes before departure. There is not much to do here. There is a volleyball court close by but I am not sure if its open to the public
