The guide will tell you stories and anecdotes about Warsaw, founded at the beginning of the 14th century, focusing on the historic buildings of the Old Town. Lodz is not an obvious city. An industrial past and perhaps still finding its future. But yet it is probably one of the most thought provoking cities I've ever been to. My guide was superb, Incredibly knowledgeable and easy company and also really brought the history to life. The story of Lodz is a haphazard series of events that it would be easy to loose the thread of but things were so well explained and organised,, that this never happened. Piotrkowska has a unique grandess and quaintness at once. Lodz may be a rough diamond but it is real hidden gem that was brought to life. Great tour and brilliantly delivered. With thanks for a great experience.
