Incredibly beautiful beach, with soft sand, great waves and beautiful clear blue water. Plenty of room, very uncrowned even on State holiday.

Kaiona Beach Park

Reviewed By MikeH305 - Phoenix, United States

This park has parking but if you don't know it is here you will drive right past. The beach is not crowded. Locals were here when we came and they said it is normally quiet like when we were there. The reason I stopped is because the set for Magnum PI is just up the road so I was able to see the breakwater that was used many times on the set. Nice sandy beach and greenish blue water with Rabbit Island out across the sea.

Sherwood Beach

Reviewed By JayJolleyTA - Omaha, United States

This is our fourth trip to Oahu and we always go to this beach for boogie boarding. The weather can be more of a challenge than Waikiki, i.e. windier, cooler, and more cloudy, but we wouldn’t go if all we wanted were to lie out in the sun. The parking lot has never been full and it is a 50 yard walk from there to the beach. There is a restroom facility with showers to rinse off salt and sand and room to change.
