Forest (French name, pronounced [fɔʁɛː]; Dutch: Vorst [vɔrst] ( listen)) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. It is bordered by Anderlecht, Ixelles, Uccle, Saint-Gilles and Drogenbos. In common with all the Brussels municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch).

We came here a few times, once for coffee/beer in a side café, once to find a geocache, and once to get some tourist information. The square is exquisite.
Wheelchair accessibility
It is bumpy, but perfectly doable. I was in my manual chair with husband pushing, and it was fairly hard work. The tourist information is upstairs so I had to wait outside. At the café I sat on the pavement next to my husband on the raised café platform.

This rose garden is set in the grounds of a lovely old castle with a moat. The variety of roses on show is superb. The grounds of the castle feature five themed rose Gardens, a Museum of Roses, and an orchard of roses is open to visitors annually from 15 May to 30 October. We were so lucky to visit these Gardens on a Tuesday and in was wonderful to view it virtually with no other visitors. having said that, from the creation of the very first rose garden in 1955, success has never been in doubt. Over the years, as the popularity of the garden grew, magnificent elaborations were conceived and executed. A total vision of the rose as cultivated all across the world is what is served to visitors of the Coloma Park as they wander amongst these famous Gardens. There is also a cosy cafe / restaurant with large Terrace overlooking the side / back of the castle itself. Entrance is free, but we would have happily paid to visit.

The Museum is in a residential area. A pleasant walk from the Metro. When you arrive you have to ring the bell. I arrived just as an English language tour was about to begin which was convenient. The guide was knowledgeable and showed how objects in the house, such as the door handles, had contributed directly to Magritte's surrealist symbolism. There is a display of personal objects and printed works. Good insight into Magritte's life.
Do this first museum first, then go the Musee Magritte Museum, where his major artworks are on display.

This museum is just a small community museum, but what a surprisingly interesting and large collection. Spilliaert, Panamarenko, Ensor, Minne, Wouters, Magritte and the list goes on and on. The retrospective of Robert Doisneau came as an unexpected bonus. Some good books in the shop.

Belgian chocolate is rich and a little goes a long way. At the Neuhaus Factory Shop you can definitely eat your fill. The chocolate is delicious and you can sample to your heart's (or stomach's) content. Do bring a bottle of water and if you want to sample as many pieces as possible, go with a friend and share. The bulk chocolate is the best deal since the boxed prices are the same as in the shops. Definitely worth a visit with out of town visitors or for your own gift giving needs.

There's not really much to say as words cannot do justice to the absolutely amazing Guildhouses and the amazing Grand Place ( Grote Markt ) .
The rows of Guildhouses look magnificent during the daylight when you can appreciate the great detail of these wonderful structures but come the night time there magical when illuminated and it's hardly surprising that this square has been voted the best in Europe and so in my opinion the best in the world and is a Unesco world heritage site.
Besides the wonderful Guildhouses you have City Hall and the Museum Of The City Of Brussels and innumerable pubs,bars and restaurants in this square,which makes it Brussels number one tourist attraction by far.
Well worth checking out.

Ones eyes can never miss this fascinating building in the Grand Place, Brussels. The improper proportion of the building construction with the central tower will amuse everyone. There are free Concerts happening inside the Town hall and you can really enjoy if ur a music lover. At night the Building is lit up with lights and decors. The interiors of the concert halls are grand and artistic with art and architectural works.

A great place to stroll during a nice day, not recommended if it's cold or rainy. The paths are nice and well laid out and the lake is wonderful.

One of the rare art deco houses in Brussels. Total concept of exterior, interior and garden. The interior of the house is an exquisite combination of luxurious materials and Fine Arts. The carpets of Jaap Gidding, the piano that once belonged to Erik Satie, the paintings of Van de Woestyne, the list goes on and on. Truly a house to visit and to revisit.
