Alpine Nature Experience

Embark on an evening snowshoe adventure through the snow gums to reach the hidden eco-village and central tipi, before indulging in a delicious French cheese fondue as part of a 3 course dinner! The perfect evening of adventure and fun for you and your friends, family or colleagues.

Spent a great evening at the Eco village ( a short snow shoe walk to your destination), having mulled wine (& other drinks) around the fire followed by a delicious dinner with cheese fondue (which we cooked in front of us) in the snug, warm snow tepee. Fantastic host & workers made the night fun, informative, safe & felt like you were being entertained by friends at their really 'nifty' idea of a snow tepee! We didn't stay the night but once we got there we wished we had. Short walk back to Wire Plain under a beautiful full moon. Great Night!!!

Ringer Reef Winery

Ringer Reef is a small winery, vineyard and cellar door located in the Alpine Valleys region of Victoria. The property fronts the Great Alpine Road at the base of Mount Buffalo at Porepunkah, just 6kms from Bright in North East Victoria. A range of white, red and sparkling wines are hand made and bottled on site, from hand picked grapes grown on either our own or neighboring vineyards in Porepunkah. The owners Annie and Bruce Holm, a husband and wife team that are passionate about their wine and the area they live, are joined by their son Mark and his wife Julie to create Ringer Reef wines.

We had a wonderful day out at Ringer Reef Winery. We received extremely personalised service from the family team, even calling in reinforcements when it got busy. The wine tasting was amazing, family stories shared of planting vines and harvests, as we tasted some really interesting wines. So we settled in for lunch enjoying a bottle or two and an amazing platter of local fresh produce. A wonderful location with a great feel.
