Cannot recommend this place enough! About 2 hours from where i live, felt like a little getaway & this location is perfect. The drive alone is very scenic. Arriving at the property you get a great vibe instantly. The cellar door is what you will see first & there is a pool table setup outside, there was a band playing some country music & groups of friends/families having a quiet drink & eating some nice wood fire pizza. Annie the dog is also there to greet you & love a belly rub! Bryce & Spencer made the check-in/check-out process really straight forward & nothing about this stay feels formal. Just a really relaxed vibe from start to finish. We stayed in Cabin 5. 1 Bedroom. The views from the room were amazing. The outdoor deck is great for a late night drink/snacks. As for the room itself, the couch/bed are very comfy. Shower has great water pressure and there is a kitchenette if you feel like cooking. The biggest tip i can give you if you decide to cook is that pick up some food at the Heathcote IGA on the way as its about a 22 minute drive from the property and the closest shopping centre. All in all this was a perfect trip. Will be back & might get a group of us together to book out all the rooms!

From the moment I walked into the Cellar Door, I knew I was in good hands. Owners and winemakers Tracie and Peter took the time to take me through their extensive range of premium quality wines, which were all delicious and obviously made with great care and passion! Their knowledge of the wine-making process and grape varietals they used to make their wines is remarkable and their friendly welcoming manner made me feel so comfortable. Their passion for sustainability also shone through, as they explained how their grapes are dry-grown without any irrigation in their 100% off-grid winery. With amazing scenic views, ornamental garden and sensational tasting wines, this winery is not to be missed when visiting the Heathcote region.

We had a lovely.lunch here, menu offers a great selection and very well priced. Setting is just beautiful with plenty of other things to do, gallery, wine tasting, the tower views or a nice walk. We left with four boxes of wine! A great day out in regional Victoria, an easy drive home although it would equally have been nice to stay as the hotel looked lovely.

Nagambie Brewery & Distillery

Craft Brewery and distillery on the shores of Lake Nagambie. Casual dining including wood-fired pizzas, burgers, small plates and more substantial meals.

Reviewed By Groovecity

As we only had limited time in Nagambie, we’d booked ahead for our brewery visit and it was a great night from start to finish. We were seated outside on the deck with a spectacular view of the lake, our waitress Maddie was friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the beer, wines and dinner menu and really helped make it a top night, the food was really good, as were the locally brewed beers, we’d highly recommend the NB & D, we’ll be back for a longer visit next time, and thanks again to Maddie for making it such a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
