From the moment I walked into the Cellar Door, I knew I was in good hands. Owners and winemakers Tracie and Peter took the time to take me through their extensive range of premium quality wines, which were all delicious and obviously made with great care and passion! Their knowledge of the wine-making process and grape varietals they used to make their wines is remarkable and their friendly welcoming manner made me feel so comfortable. Their passion for sustainability also shone through, as they explained how their grapes are dry-grown without any irrigation in their 100% off-grid winery. With amazing scenic views, ornamental garden and sensational tasting wines, this winery is not to be missed when visiting the Heathcote region.

This is a great rail trail. We cycled for about 16kms (round trip) to the Axe Creek Bridge from Bendigo. I’m a novice and it was an easy ride. Victoria has a great number of cycle rail trails and they are really good and well maintained.

This was our 5th time staying at Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park. We didn't actually go on the bridge. We took a cruise. The Goulburn Explorer sunset cruise was fabulous. Chris and Jill are kind, friendly and very tolerant of our children and us adults too! Thank you so much for having us, we will tell all our friends and be back again soon.

Mitchelton Wines

Reviewed By rovinaround

We had a lovely.lunch here, menu offers a great selection and very well priced. Setting is just beautiful with plenty of other things to do, gallery, wine tasting, the tower views or a nice walk. We left with four boxes of wine! A great day out in regional Victoria, an easy drive home although it would equally have been nice to stay as the hotel looked lovely.

Goulburn Weir

Reviewed By MaverickOctane - Melbourne, Australia

This long wooden bridge should be preserved, rebuilt at all cost, its a big asset to the town. I have grave fears it may not last another 20 years,... see it while you can still drive over it.
