Mariebergsskogen has good food, lovely cafées and great ice cream. And lots of space for swimming and outdoor life - very close to the city centre. Free admission, free parking, open dayily all year round.

This is a nice aria to relax. Much to see. Many animals . Also nice forest to walk inside. If it is a hot day. You can take a bath at the nearby beach.

Marbacka is a place to visit when exploring Värmland. I liked the garden that was very well maintained and beautiful. If you want to know more about the life and work of Selma Laggerlöf, you should definitely take a guided tour that takes ca 45 minutes (this is the only way to get in the house). The guided tour was very informative and good.
