Bellagio is a little village on Lake Como: Bellagio is famous allover the world, a picturesque town that is visited every year by a multitude of tourists coming from everywhere. In Bellagio you can admire the fantastic panorama of Lake Como and also walk through the splendid gardens of Villa Melzi. The guided tour will be walking across the town center and then we will see the gardens of villa Melzi, later by a ten minutes trip to cross the Lake by public ferry boat we will go to the town of Varenna visiting first the splendid Villa Monastero and later the medieval church of St. George and the town center of Varenna. This is a private guided tour for your group only or only for you if you are a single tourist. Please take note that the entrance tickets to all villas and all ferry boat transfers are not included in the price of the guided tour and must be paid at local cash desks.

What a pleasure to explore Varenna and the surrounding beautiful landscape of Varenna with the areas most well known guide Nadia and her trusted companion, her dog Thea. The 6 hour tour passed in no time at all aided of course by Nadia's expertise and in-depth knowledge and of course the stunning scenery. Nadia's english is excellent so i did not miss out on any of the numerous facts and historical stories she had to tell us all. Our day started with a brief introduction of the itinary as well as a historical narrative insight into Varenna and the area of Lake Como - Thereafter our glorious day began - a gentle stroll around Varenna before the gentle ascent to the Castle of Vezio (Castello Di Vezio). What can i say, just the most amazing views from this area and with Nadia's commentary it was as if we were being taken back in time as she relayed the many happenings of a bygone era of many centuries ago. A light lunch of local cheeses & meats before we were off once more hitting the trail, this time in the direction of Fiumelate and its famous river that comes out of the mountain. On our way Nadia surprised us with a lovely little detour which was a delight, a quick, very manageable ascent off the main trail led us to a small natural terrace that offered additional breath-taking panaramic views where she informed us writers and artists alike had spent their time here inspired. After this it was off to the Sorgente Del Fiumelatte - The source of the river. Being a hot summers day the cool air rising from the fast flower river was refreshing indeed. After here we made our way back in the direction of Varenna this time to visit the immaculate gardens of Villa Monastero and Villa Cipressi an absolute paradise. I have been forutnate enough to have visited Villa Monastero previously and i will again it is an area of beauty that pulls you in time and time again. As for Villa Cipressi you may well see me sitting on one of the benches there reading my book or just gazing out to the vast expanse of Lake Como - It's a garden of relaxation and calm. The tour was over and it was Nadia's kind and warm approach that made this a memorable day indeed. If you are in Italy it's a 10/10 MUST to go on one of Nadia's many excursions she offers. You will not be dissapointed!!

This full-day tour will show you the most important attractions of Como Lake: the villages of Varenna and Bellagio. We will meet at 8:45pm in Como city and will go with the speed boat to Bellagio (this trip takes about 50 minutes). There, we will do the interesting walking tour including the Basilica of San Giacomo and the panoramic point Punta Spartivento. After a break for lunch, we will take a boat to Varenna (the duration of this trip is about 15 minutes). After visiting this romantic town we will return with the normal ferry boat to Como (the duration is about 2h30), which gives us a possibility to show you all the important villas on the Lake Como during the trip (e.g. Villa of George Clooney, Villa Balbianello, the setting place of Star Wars and James Bond etc.).

The time I spent in Lugano was short but thanks to the incredible tour guide Violetta I had the opportunity to discover the city in all its facets. She is a very prepared and full of knowledge guide who answered to all my questions and doubts concerning the city and its history. During the tour, we also had time to enjoy together a coffee with a breathtaking lake view (of course, keeping the safety distance - Violetta was very careful in following all the hygiene measures)! In conclusion, I definitely recommend this tour to all the people who want to have fun while learning (and of course, walking)! What are you waiting for? Wear your best shoes and get ready to discover the hidden sides of Lugano!

The scenery was breath taking and the guide was knowledgeable. I am a novice and this was above my fitness level. However, with the guidance provided, I did finish the return up hill ride. Part way back, my legs gave out from fatigue and when I stopped to walk up hill, I fell over. I was not injured except for some scratches.

My mom and I were in Rome exactly one year ago. We decided to book the early morning tour, including the pickup from the hotel. Both the driver and guide were on time. We were able to enter the Museums at 8am, before the opening to the general public (at 9am). The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, he guided us through the magnificent galleries, Sistine chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Overall great experience. Even the concierge recommended us this tour agency, but we were lucky enough to have found it on our own before the trip, trusting all the positive reviews, and we’re very glad we did. I highly recommend this company, they are professional, honest and passionate about what they do.
