• Varanasi is known as the city of death along with that of life as well. • It is the best city to die, and we have many charitable houses where people stay and wait for their death. • The Hindu belief says that one can attain salvation here. • Death is not something to be sad here, it is at least a satisfaction if not a celebration. • The walk is mainly centered around the cremation ghats of the city.

It was the best experience ever to some good hidden treasures of north varanasi. Saurabh conducted the walking tour very nicely. He was an amazing storyteller who knew history and insights of a place. The treasures tucked in the small lanes of Varanasi couldn't have been experienced in a better manner than the way saurabh helped us. I highly recommend Roobaroo Walks

Even though it was a 1 day tour, Kunalji the owner of Experience Varanasi gave an additional half day tour and shared some history about Banaras. He understands the persons area of interest and then plan a superb itennary. On next day we had Ranjit as our guide and he was equally good. We took a early morning boat ride with him where he explained the history and stories related to each Ghats following which we had a amazing breakfast at Laxmi Chai and visited kal bhairav mandir. After a short break we went to Weavers district where we learned about making of banaras silk sarees. In the evening we saw the Ganga aarti and then ended our tour with food trail in the gaalis of Varanasi. We had mouth watering chats, rabdi and local sweets. Tamatar chat was the best thing. Overall our trip to banaras was spendid as it was well planned by Experience Varanasi.

Because we hired a trustworthy guide we were saved a couple of times. Varanasi has a lot of people waiting to scam you, but that doesn't mean all of them are like that. You just have to be careful, whenever you are offered something don't think that its free. If your Cautious enough, the trip can be very pleasant.
