We will visit the main highlights of the UNESCO World Heritage. First, we begin in the flat part of the city, explore Muelle Prat (the port), Plaza Sotomayor (Sotomayor Square), and the business district. After that, we will move to the hills of Valparaíso like Concepción and Alegre by traditional ascensores, (funiculars dating from the late 19th century). On our visit, we get to know the Victorian architecture, boutique stores, spectacular viewpoints to the bay and colorful houses on the hills, and diverse street art. At lunchtime, we get to a local restaurant enjoy delicious Chilean cuisine (own expense). After lunch head for Viña del Mar and if you like we enjoy the afternoon on the beach or we continue to Santiago.

After lunch, you will have a city tour and... the day will finsh in the country side, discovering country customs of Chile, overnight will be in a home hosted B&B. In the second day you will visit Casablanca, a wine valley, named 10th Wine World Capital, to taste the great Chilean wines and in the afternoon you will visit the city of Valparaiso, a World Heritage Site. The selected wineries are boutique wineries, we love to show wines that you will not find in your country. In two days you will have the summary of Chilean central region.

Although trip started one hour later that schedule (no fault of the guide, I reckon), she was very knowledgeable and friendly. The information on the food items in the two markets we visited (fish and fruit), the very tasty lunch in a very homey environment/ the vistas of the city - all were provided in a very lovely spirit. I definitely enjoyed the few hours I spent with your guide.

We had a pleasure of Waldo being our tour guide driving and showing us around Valparaiso. We had 2 children that are still young, so flexibility of the schedule is a must and Waldo is very flexible and intuitive of our needs. He even prepared desserts, drinks, fruits, you name it, he brought them with him so we have a pleasant day through out the day, as most of the restaurants is still closed during Phase 2. He even brought our bags along and carried them securely,to prevent robbery. Thank you Waldo for being very patient with us and waited until we had great photo for our Instagrams. We really recommend him!

Enjoyed the scenery, and culture within the community. It missed out on the 4 star review because the hygiene and service could be improved drastically. To further enhance improvements, I would recommend that this is fit for a family of 4, as it depends on your tour. The tour around the city is spetacular, but the wine tours need to be further enhanced. Anyways, I enjoyed most of the experience.
