The Valencian Community, or the Valencian Country, is an autonomous community of Spain. It is the fourth most populous autonomous community after Andalusia, Catalonia and Madrid with more than 4.9 million inhabitants. Its homonymous capital Valencia is the third largest city and metropolitan area in Spain. It is located along the Mediterranean coast on the east side of the Iberian peninsula. It borders with Catalonia to the north, Aragon and Castilla–La Mancha to the west, and Murcia to the south. We visited here after already paying to enter the Silk Museum so missed out on the free entry that the regular 7 euro ticket here grants you. A very informative audio guide provided with the entrance fee that explains the plethora of detailed paintings and murals that cover every surface.

It can be difficult to wrap your head around the City of the Arts and Sciences. The attraction is a staggering ensemble of ultra-modern structures that are given an ethereal quality by the reflecting pools that surround them. The whole thing was started in the mid-90s and the finishing touches were made in 2005. Within these gargantuan buildings are cultural venues and first-class family attractions like L’Hemisfèric, a planetarium and IMAX Cinema, or the breathtaking L’Umbracle, a botanical collection of plant species native to Valencia.

A fantastic place for the teenager family. Long Beach, lots of activities and restaurants, just amazing ☀️???? Go towards Alicante for more people and “action” walk towards El Campello and it is a bit calmer. 5/5

Beautiful enchanting amazing tiny town up in the mountain . With a beautiful history and amazing gift shops. You must go to the top as the See views from there are amazing . The church is beautiful too . Lovely restaurant at the bottom too .advise you take a drink up with you

Took a day trip to Guadalest Valley with friends enjoyed the views, the lovely walks and lunch in the restaurant . Visited the museums and craft shops . To visit the castle you walk through the church there is a small charge of 4 e . Well worth a visit with friends and family .

We parked near the steps / slope down to the beach which is very clean and a sun trap (great for sun bathing). The beach is sheltered with a warm sea and is very flat with all amenities including a well stocked bar (reasonably priced and has live music on Sunday afternoons) There is also a walk to the harbour and the restaurant which over looks the coast. After the slow walk back to the car we decided to go to the Lucky Lion at Lomas de Cabo Roig for a cooked breakfast. The breakfast is fantastic value for money costing only €3.50 for what I would describe as a large breakfast. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and the staff were very attentive. Both the beach and the Lucky Lion are definitely worth a visit.

From the parador to the other edge of the promenade you will have a relaxing, enjoyable walk with amazing views, all along by the nice sea and wide beach , you’ll find a very interesting sortiment of places like restaurants and cocktails bar . From the opposite side of the parador you will be able to admire the iconic mount of the La Marina Alta comarca( region): the big Montgó, Walk, look, relax, eat some good Mediterranean cuisine and enjoy your holidays along this fantastic promenade .

Excellent few hours the walk up past all the old alley and old house was like a walk back in time The when you get to the castle it’s amazing the 360 views of Alicante are breathtaking definitely worth the hike up There is a lift for those that don’t fancy the walk up
