What to do and see in Vail, Colorado (CO): The Best Fun Activities & Games

March 30, 2022 Phylicia Berquist

North America's biggest and most popular ski resort, Vail is an alpine village in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Long a favorite of serious skiers and jet setting celebrities, Vail now also draws a younger, hipper snowboarding crowd. Skiing is king at Vail Mountain and the Blue Sky Basin, but the area's vast splendor is perfect for hiking, biking, snowmobiling or scenery-gazing at any time of the year.

We have stayed at Racquet Club for over 30 years. We love it. It’s a mature Condonminium community that is well cared for, maintained and improving. The Club is fantastic - with an outdoor 25. meter pool, yoga classes, weight room, tennis courts, new locker rooms (2018) and more. The finishes in the condos vary - as the interiors are improved by the unit owner - not the HOA. Most owners keep their unit relevant and current in a comfortable manner. We have never been disappointed. East Vail is quiet compared to Vail Village or to Lionshead Village. So, no bar or other night noises. Recommended.

3 Screen First-run Movie House With Full Bar, Burger & Sandwich Menu And Optional In-theatre Dining.

Reviewed By t33th - Springdale, United States

We were staying in the Village and didn’t want to drive so this was convenient and available and gave it a shot. I really was impressed after reading some of the reviews. This place is clean and modern. The staff is great. Our food was yummy and abundant. The pricing was actually pretty reasonable compared to anywhere else that you can get food in this immediate area. I had the chicken buffalo sandwich and my husband the burger. They both came with plenty of fries. The seats were comfortable with push away tray tables. The movie quality and sound was perfect! I would definitely go back here again and again. Movie selection is limited because it’s a small theater in the middle of the village. It was perfect for what we were looking for!
