Eco Beach

Very nice and clean beach. There are instructions not to get into water. But not that unsafe. Water was clean. There is a big park with nominal entry fee, where one can spend good amount of time. Bathroom facilities also available, which is added advantage. Young children can enjoy playing as the water and sand are soft and clean.

Superb waterfalls a real hidden gem. If you are able to google locate it, the effort will be worthwhile. The falls are magnificent. But the trek from the starting point till the first view point is 500mts with 300 steps. View is breathtaking. If you are fit enough you can traverse further down with another 300 steep steps to behold the fantastic natural beauty A must visit. Please be aware that there are no eating joints or watering holes or restrooms at this place. So be advised accordingly.

Its almost 1.5 to 2 hours ride from Gokarna main beach. Even the ride is enjoyable. Once you reach, You need to walk for 15 minutes to the falls. It was not much crowded when we visited. I insist everybody to go under the waterfall If you even know a bit of swimming. It was an amazing experience for us. Do carry some extra inners. (But I didn't)????

Netrani Island

Reviewed By 844abhinavs - Bengaluru, India

Did 4 dives at Netrani Island for my Open Water certification, with 3 dives at Pebble Beach and 1 at Bomb Rock. Pebble Beach is great for beginner and discovery divers as it has some colourful parrot fish, mornay eels and puffer fish, while being a shallow site with a light current. The visibility wasn't great, but the site was fit for the purpose, i.e. skill testing under water for the certification. Bomb Rock was a much better dive site, its deeper at 17m and has a stronger current, especially at the surface, but has an abundance of aquatic life from corals of many hues to barracudas. There are close to 9 dive sites around Nethrani Island, so plenty to choose from as a dive location.
