Milos Beach

I think this beach has the most beautiful view from Agios Nikitas. Take an umbrella, food and water with you. There are no bars there. Is a virgin beach.

Alternative Lefkada

Alternative Lefkada is a real 'find'. The 4 of us, including 2 teenagers, spent a wonderful evening with the family, tasting Greek teas and coffees. liquors, wines, olives, meze; then made our own moussaka, stuffed peppers & tomatoes and Greek salad. Finished off by more wine and sweets. And some fun Greek dancing with Aunty Olga! The team deserve to be really successful - they are charming, generous and the most excellent cooks. We met most of the family including their lovely children. It was great value - but more than that, it was a FANTASTIC experience. Our advice - DO IT!

What a lovely hangout pub with a friendly owner. Great atmosphere during the day and the evenings are spiced up with some rock n roll. Like a living room away from home. Watch soccer, play some pool or just chill with the coolest Spiros in town. #hellofromthefinnishguys

Karya Folklore Museum

As previous reviewers have said, this museum is important for showing the history of embroidery in Karya. But, more than that it was an amazingly bizarre tour by a gentleman who should get an award for most entertaining tour guide. What an experience, we're still laughing.

The second time we visit Avali Beach, it is still the same great beach, off the radar of the crowds! It's probably not as impressive as Kalamitsi, but it's certainly a lot more peacefull than the Kathisma. And the Avali cantene is the best!

You need nothing more than the pictures attached to understand the magic of our sailing trip in Ionion Sea. What the pictures can’t show you is how well organised this Sailing Cruise Company really is and how they correspond to their client’s even peculiar demands. Panos, Virginia, Anthee and Spyros, everybody in «Sailing Ionian Sea» had prepared every tiniest detail so that our cruise would be totally undistracted. A week in the sea felt like months away from the office. Many thanks guys and be sure we ‘re definitely coming back.

Kathisma Beach

Reviewed By Lizzypumpkin - Montreal

Long stretch of mixed sand and pebble. Beautiful colour of the water and fairly warm water. A bit tricky getting out of the water with loose rocks under your feet. Nice beach loungers which we did not have to pay for, I suppose because it was October and late in the season,
There is also a restaurant bar to get food and drinks with toilet, shower and changing room facilities. It is a beach you can drive to. Plenty of free parking.

Little wild but beautiful beach with clear cristal water . Not particularly for little kids because of big rock, there is not organised, no umbrellas or sunny beds. Any way it's good to visit this beach
