Every year millions of Armenians and foreigners visit to Kecharis monastery and small church next to Kecharis named after St Harutyun. This place is an ancient and historical place and situated near Tsaghkanc mount. It is reconstructed recently but loses its' historical shine.

Tsaghkadzor is a very nice and small Mountain Resort just one hour North of Yerevan. During the summer Tsaghkadzor offers a real change from the hot weather of Yerevan.
I suggest one travels here to enjoy some really fresh air; much cooler weather and a great chance to hike or simply walk!.
There is a wide selection of hotel’s and B&B’s throughout the town. What is very nice is the wide selection of restaurants outside of your hotel. Also, a variety of outdoor activities from a great “Rope Way” to a new “Zip Line”!
So if you want to enjoy a few days away from Yerevan and a change from seeing Monastery and Church after Monastery and Church you must try a stop over at: Tsaghkadzor!!

I have had an experience on s ropeway in Switzerland however I felt this was much longer and enjoyable. The cost of the ticket is very reasonable 2000 Drams per person. There are three levels we got to one level as it was getting dark. Do it for an unforgettable experience

No matter how many time I was in Tsaghkadzor I always take a pic at this monument.
Yengibaryan was not just an actor. He was great artist, genius!! His art is alive till nowadays so does his spirit))) there's few actors than can compair with the master of "sad" joy.

Like a few museums in Armenia, it's dedicated to rich and famous people who want us to remember them. This one is in their house, and tells the story of the Orbeli family, a royal family that goes back many years. In this quiet town it's a nice little visit to break up the day.

Nearby but separated from the Kecharis Monastery complex, the church of Saint Harutyun is tiny compared to its much larger neighbor. The small church as built in 1220 and it stands remarkably intact. I really liked the Saint Harutyun church because it is so petite... cute even. Highly recommend you take an extra 15 minutes and pop over to this small site standing just adjacent from the Kecharis Monastery.

Впервые не чувствовала себя в казино "жертвой обмана". Очень дружелюбная атмосфера, бесконечные розыгрыши, каждый час. Очень разнообразные угощения, особенно фрукты... Попросила тирамису, думала скажут "нет", но ошиблась, и его принесли. Конечно, проиграли в итоге, но нам вернули какую-то часть денег, что очень приятно
