Workers clad in medieval clothes are building a 13th-century castle from the ground up using period tools and supplies from the surrounding forests, rocks, and dirt. The project started 22 years ago and expected to take another 15 years to complete. You are free to walk the grounds, go inside the castle, visit the support village, and ask questions. Worth the trip. Kids will find it fun and adults will be fascinated. Cafe, picnic tables, restrooms and gift shop available.

THE GREAT ADVENTURE The Bois de la Folie has now 12 trails in the tree tops becoming progressively higher and more difficult as you go. The 160 fun activities with 1700 meters of zip lines, will give you great sensations and a fun day out with family or friends. The entire tree park is equipped with a continuous belay system (a permanent carabineer), keeping all securely attached while the adrenalin is still there. Kids from 8 to 11 years old need to be accompanied by an adult on the trails. Play Paintball from 8 years old or an Explor' Game from 12 years.

A beautiful castle, the pottery made there is (and has always been) a testimony of creativity. The art exhibition which is presented (in 2020 René Moreu) is a useful meditation on the universe. BC
