Torre-Pacheco (Spanish pronunciation: [torepaˈtʃeko]) is a municipality in the autonomous region of Murcia in southeastern Spain. It has a population of 27,400 (2005) and an area of 189.4 km². The only elevation of the municipality is the Cabezo Gordo, the location of the Sima de las Palomas, a protected archeological site. The town is home to one further education college called "I.E.S. Gerardo Molina".

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Mar Menor Golf Resort. Let me say we are not golfers but we liked the look of the villa and were not disappointed!
We stayed at 136 Calle Castano booked through Ownersdirect with Janice Scott from Murcia Villas.
The villa is spotless with a very large, private, and clean pool.The downstairs is open plan with a modern kitchen with everything you could ever need including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer etc. In the lounge there is a flat screen tv and a comfortable suite, air conditioning throughout. upstairs there are 2 spacious bedrooms and a balcony.
The resort is very quiet, but that's what we liked, It is also very clean. There is a decent Spar supermarket on site and near the hotel a couple of restaurants. We didn't eat on the resort we went just outside the main entrance, there is a strip of several bars and restaurants. Our particular favourite was the Shamrock Lounge, they have a varied menu, friendly staff and good food! Another one we liked was Route 66 an american themed bar/ restaurant.
If you want a quiet chilled out holiday this could be for you. The only downside is the Golf resort is a bit of an oasis, to get the best of this region you would need to hire a car.

Nice 18 hole Golf course and well known by regular players. The club house is small but Always someone available to help with a smile !
The food in the restaurant is delicious and also served with a smile :-)
This is thé place for holiday in combination with the Golf sport.
I strongly recommend this place for families who like to play Golf.
The family went swimming in beautiful pools, while the guys went to play Golf ! :-))

Visited La Torre golf course as part of a golf package with your golf travel for the 2nd year , if you like a demanding course this is the place to play the scenery out on the course is lovely but a buggy is recommended, we enjoyed it greatly and look forward to playing again in the future

A Nine Hole Par Three which offers a true test of your golfing ability. Situated virtually in the middle of Torre Pacheco.....there is a very good Restaurant also on this tiny complex.....offering the full three courses...or a choice of Tapas.

Local situado en la zona donde hace unos años se hallaban locales de la movida noche pachequera de los años noventa. Uno de los empresarios que regentó locales en aquel momento, es el dueño de este local con aspecto inicial de tranquila cafetería, pero que a lo largo de la tarde de los festivos y fines de semana, se convierte en un animado pub con clientela de variada edad. Son muy frecuentes los conciertos de directo. Música con guiños ochenteros y D.J's siempre abiertos a satisfacer cualquier sugerencia del cliente. Estupendo servicio. Notable variedad de cervezas, idóneas para tardes balompédicas con el deca-campeón de Europa....
Un par de copas,Angel !!!!
