I visited Tignes with a large group of friends last week - All of which were intermediate/advanced skiers, and when compared to me only having had one lesson at the snow dome prior to flying out, it was safe to say I was a beginner. I met with Tom on my first day of skiing for a private 2.5 hr morning lesson and wasn't expecting to come away as confident as I did. He was so professional, gave great advice and just an all round great teacher/instructor. We started off going down from the half way point of some green runs to assess how easily I could stop and how much control I had etc. Once I felt more confident with stopping/turning we then went down some blues. By the end of the lesson I was parallel skiing going down some fast blues, with Tom right behind me. After the lesson had ended, I rejoined my group of friends and felt confident going down every blue in Tignes / Val D'isere and even ended the holiday on the third day going down 3 red runs. I would 100% recommend a private lesson as you get the instructors full attention and they can really get to work on your technique. Also cant recommend Tom enough - He took me from someone who had never ski'd on real snow before, to going down blues and reds and all from one x 2.5 lesson. Cheers Tom!

Well what more can I say other than renelle is unbelievable and so so so talented!!! I was tought by renelle way back when 12 years ago and would not go anywhere else for my family and myself I've just come back from a week in tignes with the family where renelle was teaching my 4 year old to board (started last year with fresh ) renelle is so patient with my little one I would totally recommend fresh for your snowboarding coaching in tignes ???? Another great experience with like minded people. Si always seems to find people that get on and ride well together whilst having a great laugh! If you feel your having one of those ‘off days’ there’s always someone around to lift and encourage you ! Always been a great way to make new friends and you’ll find yourself bumping into year after year.. surely says something! Everyday there was a new adventure where Si would put the skills you’ve learnt on previous courses into practice and taking you places you’d miss out on otherwise. Some great new experiences this year. Thanks everyone involved in making this an epic trip! Can’t wait till the next one...

On a very snowy day, myself and 4 fellow ski friends decided to switch it up with a 3 hour private snowboarding lesson with Jay. We had such a blast, and he was so patient with our mixed abilities. By the end he'd even gained a few converts... a sign of a great teacher. Thanks!

Corinne is an excellent instructor, i was a bit anxious yet she put me at ease quickly and reassured me that everything would be ok! She ascertained my ability and gave fantastic descriptions of what I needed to do to improve being very patient with me throghout. My partner is more confident on the slopes and Corinne managed both our abilities very well, my partner was off practicing in the powder whist I was attempting just to turn down the slope (something i’ve found very difficult) in terrible weather. With Corinne's guidance i was confident enough to go up again and have another go at the dreaded turns!! I would thoroughly recommend Mayhew Snowboarding to anyone who wants to get the most out of the mountains and themselves.

I had the pleasure of joining Stuart on his bumps course a couple of weeks ago at MK snow dome. Although we were a very mixed group he provided very clear and concise feedback that each of us could work with to work towards our specific goals. I was very impressed how quickly he was able to assimilate what he saw and provide very specific changes that addressed root causes. Its not just a catchy name, he really does FOCUS on each person individually, getting the most out of them.

Owain exceeded every expectation, I can't recommend him enough. He put me at ease instantly, he has such a natural way with him, what seems to be endless patience and a real passion for the sport and the outdoors. After just one morning with Owain I really turned a corner in my abilities, and after the second day, I had really gained some confidence. Even after the lessons, Owain was still on hand throughout our stay for support and advice. He gave us loads of recommendations for places to visit, slopes to find (all within my ability), and places to eat locally. He even helped my friends (who weren't having lessons with him) as they were having problems with their kit. Owain genuinely goes above and beyond and I can't thank him enough!!! I would go back to Tignes (above all other resorts) simply to have more lessons with Owain, he set the bar high.

Booked 5 days of intermediate lessons as a way to return my confidence after many years off the slopes. They surpassed all my expectations and I welcomed the variety of topics we covered across the week from back to basics initially to heading to the snow park and intro to going off piste. Really impressed with our instructor Camille who never lost patience and managed to correct some of the bad habits I came to the class with. Due to the timings and location of the lesson the staff at Evolution 2 also organised transport to the lessons which was greatly appreciated. Overall had a great week of lessons with Camille and evolution 2 and would definitely book again when I go back.
