Northwoods Petroleum Museum

Over 3,000 items on display (including pumps, signs, globes, cars, etc.) from over 100 years of petroleum history. The museum is amazing and impeccably organized! The owner, Jake, is very knowledgable, having owned several gas stations for 30+ years.

Reviewed By David R - Marco Island, Florida, United States

Besides the Lakes, the Petroleum Museum is a "have to see" attraction. The owner collects gas station memorabilia and car related items. He shares some of his collection at the museum and gives great tours. During the summer, he hosts a car and bike show. All is free but highly recommend you donate on the way out. It is well worth it and will remind you of the good old days of happy motoring!

I have been back many times and it is a must go for anyone that comes to visit us at the lake. Admission is donation as all the work and staffing is volunteer...you WON'T be disappointed....you will love it.

My family and I have visited WI a handful of times. The instructors and this ski school are very well trained, safe and courteous. My wife and kids are still talking about their experience. I happen to be in the water sports industry and have an eye for perfection and recognized this outfit as a fine example. Quality instruction and equipment left unmatched by any other outfit in the area. Your choice of brand new Nautique ski and wakeboard boats to choose from, is a plus....

My son is 10 years old and loves to wakeboard. The problem is that his Dad is too old to be able to give him any pointers on wake-boarding (no such thing when I was on a ski team). My son has done 2 lessons and both times he has learned a ton. Jordan is great with him. Simply a great experience both times. Highly recommend from beginners to experienced.
