Imagine, deer, trees, meadows just off highway 101. I especially enjoy the Cheseboro canyon area. Walk, contemplate, visualize the oak forest, watch for deer and critters. Wonderful place.

Walking through the lovely flowers and plants took away the hustle and bustle of daily life and as my wife would say stop and smell the roses. And also the other blooming plants.

The park has numerous well maintained hiking trails for all age groups from casual hikers to the very rugged hiker. It is a very large park of several hundred acres. One of the easier trails takes you past a waterfall which runs almost all year round. The park is in the heart of the city, but it is not overly developed. It is also the site of numerous Western movies that were filmed in the past 70 years. There are several places to park, so it is not an issue. I have visited this park many times over the years.

They have all the good shops, and eateries, and the mall has a really relaxed feel about it. My teenager loves the Forever 21, and there are even places for mom to shop.
