Not very far from Thessaloniki, just 45 minutes by car, this place is a 'must visit' if you like swimming, lying in the sun. Clear water , beach bars, good food.

I travelled to Thessaloniki and one the 2nd to last day realised that you could get a boat for around 5 euro return to Peraia Beach. Peraia beach is a hidden gems, with shallow clear oceans, white sandy beaches, loads of restaurants, bars and shops! It was so hot on the day we arrived to this beach and honestly it was amazing! I loved it and found it to be exciting considering it wasn't too far from Thessanoliki, as busy city! the boat takes about 1hr but it is worth the wait! It is a great place for children, families, couples, friends - anyone can go. I think even dogs!
