when we attended the coteaux, we were able to visit this church that show again the display of marble floor, a baptism place dating from several hundreds years, typical catholic church

This star shaped memorial with all the 50 states wrapped around it is a tribute to the men and women, because women also died in WWII, who came here, faught here and ended their lives here so that the world would be a better place for everyone. As a soldier and has a daughter, whose Father fought here and returned, We should All honor our fallen. We came in winter to remember what it was like 75 years ago, in this cold winter days.

Beautiful castle .. with wonderful view from every level Best way to explore castle is by foot (walk up), stay at every level (there are plenty of sitting spaces here and there) There are car parking at the highest level and at a level below (just next to Parfumes of Namur shop) One can easily spend whole day here .. there is a museum, an expo and small yet beautiful shop, cafe and train ride, small kids play area and plenty of open space to sit around and relax

Very interresting place to be visited.. Especialy during hot days, here you can chill out and as a bonus see part of recent history, same as incredible machinery.. ;)

The climb towards the ruins is pretty high over a cobblestone path. But when you're there it's so worth it. You can walk around, thru and over the ruins. They wil give you a paper with information.. al over the ruins are numbers that correspondent to a number on the paper, where you can find info about that part. Al the way in the front is a little museum, with a lot of stuff that they found in the well of the castle. Overal, its a pretty climb to get up there.. But so worth it

Our visit lasted one hour due to lack of time, but we could have stayed longer. The exhibits and the 10 min introductory film are very good and give a clear view of the war context, the strategic importance of the fort, and the reasons why the fort was captured so quickly. The only negative was the status of the path around the top of the fort. While the circuit is relatively well indicated, it is poorly maintained and some sections can be dangerous for pedestrians that do not have good footing especially where the handrails are missing or broken. The path offers views of some of the top bunkers but again access for good views is not always easy. We also missed the side path with the view over the Meuse and the canal.
