A great place to explore local talented artists, see their work, and meet them. A very welcoming environment,a favorite place for those like myself who love art with a personal touch.. I met with Toria Hill, whose work, and expression is based on current events.. completely blown away by her talent. I proudly own some of her work and cherish it completely.. Step outside your box and explore our local talent. You will not regret it!

East End Historic District

The real charm of Galveston lies in its beautiful Victorian buildings. While many still need major work, the majority give a sense of the city's charm and extravagance from days gone by. Even if you only take a driving tour, make sure you visit this area before leaving town.

Theater District

Reviewed By davemh333 - Houston, United States

The Theater District has it all: multiple stages and concert halls as well as plenty of dining choices. For music there's Jones Hall, the Wortham Center, with Brown and Cullen Theaters. There's the Hobby Center where most major musicals are staged, and there's also the Revention Center (formerly known as the Verizon Center), where many rock acts perform. Beneath it all is expansive underground parking -- unless you drive a Lexus, which gets you free parking at the Hobby Center. There are literally dozens of dining choices within easy walking distance as well.
