Fantastic large caves putside of Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico. Got there with GF by rental car. At the entrance is a parking lot with some vendors. You have to pay some extra for parking. Recommend having fresh coconut milk from coconut sold by a vendor there. Cheap (cash only), very refreshing. Some vendors take credit card. Only water permitted in the caves. Thr caves are breathtaking. My GF suffers from claustrophobia but did not have a problem here as the caves are massive. You go in with a group from the entrance with a guide. If you know a bit of cave terminology, a bit of Spanish, a bit of christian iconography, you will understand most of what the guide says (ours only spoke in Spanish). You can later walk around on your own and exit on your own. Guide points out some unusual cave formations highlighted by a guide control ligting system that you would otherwise miss. Recommend bringing a good flash light if you want to exit at your own pace. All the walking is on a well maintained designated path. Well worth the visit. Located 20-30 minutes from Taxco where we stayed for a couple of nights.

8. Free yourself with the mysticism of Tlayapacan and Tepoztlan
We leave for the State of Morelos where we will visit the Magical Town of Tlayacapan with a majestic landscape between mountains. Many traditional festivals and dances are held here, very important for the figure of Chinelo. Upon entering Tlayacapan you discover that the Old Convent of San Juan Bautista, considered a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO, comes out of the buildings. Inside you can visit an open chapel, the cloister with Gothic vaults and the sacristy, which exhibits four mummies of children found on the nearby floors. Later we will visit a traditional bakery where wood-fired bread is still made with a unique flavor of the region. We continue to Tepoztlán it will surprise you as it is also a Magical Town of parties, its music and its vibrant colors will make you feel the life of traditions. In the background you will find the majestic Tepozteco hill is a place that for its mystique is almost purifying.

Bamba are very professional and helpful company. Made things very easy for us, especially with the 2 border crossings we encountered. Sometimes there was a mis-communication issue and we ended up missing an experience because of this but Bamba was hot on it and offered us another tour in place of the one we missed out on. I loved our bus pass and although they obviously charge at a profit, I think it's worth it as there is no hassle or stress - which as a traveller with anxiety disorder, I found this perfect! All staff and tour operators were friendly :) I can't wait to book my next trip with you. Please do one in Japan/South Korea? Thank you Bamba!!!

Every part of the trip was planned to the smalest of the detail and went smootly. Not a single problem. We visited several places that normally you do not visit in a regular trip because this tour operator knows the places, the culture, the locals, the food, arts and crafts where you participate in the making of local art objects and interact with the local people, not only visit the places. The guides are with you at all times, are very knowledgeable and helpfull and know every inch of the tour. You feel very secure with them. The best experience in an organized tour I have ever had.
