My wife and mother in-law took a road trip to Copper Hill to see the small old town - of course we had to have a beer while there and went into the Copperhill Brewery . It was all great - the information , the politeness of the staff and the education . We will definitely return when in the area to sample some of the other beers on tap. If you are visiting the town the brewery is worth a visit, have a beer and enjoy the friendship offered. Just outside you can have one foot in Tennasee and the other foot in Georgia Very cool to straddle the state line. ????????

Mayday Brewery

At Mayday, here’s what we are about: • We want to make a quality product without taking ourselves too seriously. We make beer. We don’t perform open heart surgery, or transport nuclear waste; there is no reason to get uptight about it. • We want to make beer that you can drink more than one of. • We are a venue for great live music, in our tasting room, in the brewery, and outside when weather permits. • When you come to our brewery, we want it to be an experience. • We opened the brewery to have fun and make friends, and hopefully someday make some money. Love the people, love the beer!

Whether a day trip from Nashville or a weekend getaway, this is THE reason to go to Murfreesboro. If you’re in Nashville, take the 20 minute drive - you won’t regret it! We visited Mayday while in town for a conference. We had no expectations, other than visiting a local brewery. We entered from the church side of the building. The entrance into the brewery was funky and inviting. Walls filled with murals, colored lights around the entrance, pointing you to the taproom. The taproom is decorated with colorful, eclectic art, creating an awesome vibe. We sat at the bar and had a sampler each - every beer was excellent! The lemon basil sour and oranger-ginger-cardimom sour were my favorite, and my husband really enjoyed the green tea IPA (don’t knock it til you try it). The entire staff was friendly and personable, making it feel like we were old friends hanging out. Ozzy even offered to show us around the brewery, taking us through the wall of his family photos, then into the brewery to see where the magic is made. We also had the opportunity to talk with he and Ariana a while about upcoming events and plans for Mayday! Y’all! This place doesn’t need to be a secret - Mayday is doing great things and if you’re not in on it, you’re missing out!
