What to do and see in Tenerife, Canary Islands: The Best Architectural Buildings

January 28, 2022 Myesha Cogley

Tribal Terenife still shows influence from the aboriginal Gaunches people. Visitors clamber to conquer Mount Teide (Spain’s tallest peak) and to stretch out on the sands of Los Gigantes. Squawk hello to the playful parrots of Loro Park, or brave the petrifying drive to beautiful Masca Valley. For a true taste of Terenife, sample fresh farmhouse cheese and local bananas. A piece of delicate calado canario lace makes a special souvenir.

Very unique design and interesting to scrutinize at every angle. You can sit inside and order a coffee. It was very windy when we visited which forced us to leave earlier than we planned.

Beautifully, ornately decorated 17th century church with statues, which is well worth visiting. Its interior is peaceful. It’s in an attractive and charming square with gardens with flower beds and trees and benches.

Updated cuisine with a focus on tradition, authentic flavours and quality raw materials are the basis of each of our proposals. A space full of charm located in a historic house of the Villa de La Orotava. In our stoves, Carmen Pérez and the 'alma mater' of a project on the rise, prints that deep-rooted cuisine and tradition that well rewards the palate.

A short walk across the street from Casa de Los Balcones so worthy of a visit with a cool covered courtyard with a bar and cafe. We sat in style welcome relief from the afternoon heat just soaking in the history. On the way back we passed a lovely ice cream shop recommend that too.
