We had the pleasure to hire Wayan via our hotel in Ubud for a transfer to Pemuteran, North of Bali. After a few negative experiences with taxi drivers in Bali, being with Wayan was fantastic: knowledgeable, professional, full of good tips and, above all, safe. If you want to be with somebody who cares for you -and you should- don't hesitate, hire Wayan's company.

We came here after the busy Tirta Empul and it was our favourite stop of all the temples. You walk down about 400 steps to an 11th century temple and beautiful rainforest. You can hear water running everywhere from the river or the water systems up in the hills. It's very spiritual and a real magical moment.

Our 13 yr old daughter and I did the intermediate (2hrs) tour. Horses Cola and Raju were lovely, we did some trotting and cantering but ride was mostly relaxing while we were enjoying our view and getting a glimpse of daily live at the village....MoreDear Liones and daughter, Thank you for riding with us. Although the safari was beautiful the elephants are visably being abused by staff. They are each isolated and chained to their individual trees and let out only when tourist are going for an elephant ride. The staff keep a sharp object in their hands and stab the elephant to navigate and change directions. This park should be closed because they are visably abusing the elephants

Being a regular visitor to Bali I have had many massages but Sinar is by far the best I have experienced. She is so humble and caring and a delight to deal with. I visited on the recommendation of Cloud Nine Estate where we were staying as I had injured my knee due to too much walking. Sinar recommended the treatment and worked on my leg most days......whilst still not healed she had me walking again within a day. I also had a body scrub and my skin still feels like velvet a week later.....all natural. This is a true Bali experience and nothing like the hundred of cheap and expensive massages you get in so many other places in Bali. If you want the true Bali experience I highly recommend. Also Sinar has many years experience and has worked at many Four Season resorts around the world. I can't wait to return.

I went with some friend right down into the gorge to see the sacred falls. I lost count of the number of steps down... there are a lot! But so worth the effort to see this place. Bring suitable clothing, and go into the water, under the falls ... but take care as the water drops with tremendous force. It is considered to be a place of purification, and indeed feels this way. An inspiring day out.

After Reading on Tripadvisor many positive reviews about various private drivers in Bali, Wayan was the only one who addressed all my detailed questions in my enquiry email. I had a specific itinerary that involved approximately 7 very long days. Wayan gave me a reasonable fixed price and didn't seek to charge me for hours that exceeded 10 (as some other private drivers/companies do). Each day, him (or one of his colleagues if he was unavailable) ALWAYS turned up as early as 15 minutes. He and his colleagues were very reliable, trustworthy and safe drivers. Their cars were comfortable with air conditioning.
Wayan's main concern is not so much about cost but whether or not his customer is happy whilst in Bali. I had lots to see and not enough time, but Wayan made sure that I got to see everything I wanted to see on my list when in the east, north, west and south of Bali. If he wasn't familiar with a place I wanted to go to, he didn't hesitate to ask locals along the way for directions which helped to avoid time loss.
My only advice is:
1. make sure Wayan has seen your itinerary (despite me emailing it to him as an attachment and telling him there were 4 pages, I learned that his Blackberry only showed him the first page or two - therefore, put your itinerary within the email rather than as an attachment)
2. be clear on what his daily rate includes (I made sure I stated that it included parking fees, toll fees & his lunch because it helped me to correct him or his colleagues when I was asked to pay the toll fee for the Mt Batur area and Jatiluwih area. However, I should have also asked it to include a sarong.)
3. be clear on whether you expect him to be just a driver or also your guide (the latter is important to help avoid paying more money to local people who insist on being your guide when Wayan is not by your side).
In general, Wayan adapted well to my very high and demanding expectations and professionally handled minor problems that arose from any misunderstandings. Additionally, he helped me to avoid the stresses of scamming taxi drivers and other locals by picking me up upon arrival, taking me everywhere that I wanted to go in Bali and dropping me off at the airport. He made sure I remained happy and I did! Wayan keeps his word and I have no hesitations in recommending him and his team.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but the animals are in clean well kept conditions..
The grounds are beautiful and clean..
Coffee and tea to sample is cheap but to buy it is quite expensive !!
The swings were great fun, about 150.000rp for maybe 5 minutes but while in Bali..

Came here as part of a package with white water rafting. My husband and I had booked 2 single buggies- experience was good overall in terms of the actual buggies. we decided to do another lap (only 2 were included) with the double buggy. Worker who was with us didn't know prices and had us walk back to the main desk in the rain to find out. Women at desk were very confused, told us the price for another lap which my husband then paid in cash (told it was 120,009 idr) Headed back to where the buggies were only to be informed that they had made an error in the price we were quoted and we had to go back upstairs to pay more. We were then rudely informed that we were expected to pay 3 times what we initially did because we had previously done single buggies and the "additional lap" charge did not apply to us since we wanted a double buggy this time, and would have to pay the full cost again. When we tried to find out why, they just refunded us the money and did not try to accommodate at all. Wanted us to pay 490,000 idr for a single lap which we thought was ridiculous and instead of trying to accommodate since we were obviously interested, they just took money out, gave it back, and walked us outside to stand back in the rain to wait for the car to pick us up. Very very rude, especially since we had spoken to them earlier about being on our honeymoon. Was a great opportunity for them to show good customer service and hospitality and they failed. Would not recommend.
