Wow! Cranks & Tinkerers is truly a special place - a collectors dream. Ian is a wonderful personality and a very talented collector and restorer of a huge range of memorabilia from early cameras, vinyl records, cinema projectors, vintage model planes, cars & boats, etc. Ask him to play one of the old organs or his banjo- a very special experience.

What a stunning area of natural beauty We drove first to the Gardens which has a look out and some walking trails so you can get close to the red rocks for photo opportunities It gets a bit windy along this coast so bring a jumper. Beautiful scenery with the contrast of the red rocks with the white sand and deep blue sea. We then drove back to Bingalong for some more photo opportunities

We grow berries, stone fruits apples and pears.vFarm stay accommodation now available. (for more info go to our web site) With our fruits we also make prize winning jams, sauces and chutneys which we sell at the farm. But the best reason to come is to try our delicious desserts and Tasmania's best ice-cream which is made on the premises using our own fruit. Just let the world slow down and enjoy yourself with great coffee, tea or fruit smoothies. WiFi available in our cafe. Farm walks too as we are surrounded by stunning bush land.

I read lots of positive comments about Eureka farm and I decided to book the farm for couple days with my family members from Hong Kong. Echo to all the positive comments, it's really a great experience and all of us would always remember that remarkable stay in Eureka farm. Denis and Ann are great hosts, and we enjoyed so much on the ride to the fruit farm, as well as the knowledge transfer from Denis on how to pick fruit the right way :) The farm house we stayed in are so clean, so equipped. It really gave us a warm home feeling. Denis, all appliances are well maintained, well done! Of course, Ann's breakfast and dessert are the best overall! We also loved the Strawberry chilli sauce - Denis, I served it with my beef pie, it's yummy. We will visit you again whenever we visit Tasmania. Lesson learned from this experience: Life is good if you find a nice place t stay in, with superb host.

Great place to visit after the dairy farm, The walk was well sealed, and fenenced and the walk has fencing along the track and good walk and their is a viewing platform to view the falls. and easy walk back to the top.

We drove up to possibly get some fruit as the roadside sign said fruit orchard. What a pleasant surprise as property is at the end of the road. The cafe did sell seasonal homegrown apples and veggies. The cakes were both some of the best gluten free options we have tasted. Light and tasty Can recommend the granny’s garden pot of tea with a dash raw honey Lovely chatting to the owners who are well versed in the mountain biking options in the area. Would recommend a stop for tea (or coffee ) and cake after trail riding at Flagstaff. ( lots out outside tables and benches with sun umbrellas for shady option )

Great history of the area, in the history viewing room behind the visitor info desk. Has a lot of local artifacts and local history information. Very enjoyable.

We visited the reserve twice in search of the "Blue Tier Giant" walk (which can be accessed from near the Weldborough lookout) and found it on our second attempt. The first visit we accidentally walked down some mountain bike trails near Lottah, which were still beautiful but not what we had visited for. There is no reception up there so we could not double check our map! (Also the signposting is somewhat lacking.) Eventually on our second visit through the area with the map preloaded we were able to find the Blue Tier Giant walk. It is quite secluded on a gravel road, but the road was an easy trip and the walk itself not difficult. The trees were beautiful and it was very tranquil - definitely worth the trouble of finding it! At the Blue Tier Giant itself there was even a box with a visitor's book in it which was a great surprise.

Loved this little shop, something for everyone. Lots of antiques, books, souvenirs and even fishing rods. Not cheap but well presented in a nice shop, staff friendly and helpful. Well worth a stop bit tricky if you’re towing a caravan.
