Taranto is overwhelming in many ways. I love street art and the Old Town has lots to offer. Hunting for street art is fun and please remember to look where you step as the streets are also full of cat and dog droppings. The Old Town is very ancient and it is interesting to explore all the different alleys. You will see a lot of slum as you walk around and the harbour is also great fun with fishermen being busy organising the next fishing trip or cleaning mussels. We found some nice cafes and took time to hang out for 4 days.
