We are located in the Taranaki region just 15km south of New Plymouth (Oakura). As manufacturing jewellers/ artists we design, redesign and recycle jewellery. In our spacious studio we have our own collections on display. Groups and individuals are welcome to have a look behind our workbench, watch how gemstones are set and a ring is joined. If you would like to create your own unique souvenir you can book in a 1hr Mt Taranaki titanium pendant class. Information are on our website or give us a call. We are open 7 days a week and our classes are suitable for adults up to 8 people at a time. A shuttle service can be boooked optional from New Plymouth for additional $10pp 2-6 people.

Lushington is a boutique and workroom located on main strip in town. Lushington creates limited edition, one of a kind designer jackets. Each jacket is designed & made by Belinda Hunt here in the store. A Lushington Jacket is a bespoke and beautifully designed piece of clothing. Each jacket has three signature features, stunning linings, the Lushington ring and a beautiful embroidery on the back.
Showcasing Taranaki made art, design and gifts, Kete Aronui is a gallery and online store with quality items from emerging and established local makers. The space is constantly evolving with new works of art, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics, prints, greenstone, cards and coffee beans available. Kete Aronui also organise workshops year round featuring guest artists.
LUMEN Studios & Gallery was founded in 2019. LUMEN is an artist-run space based at the old Cheese Factory in Tataraimaka, Taranaki. Resident artists include Teresa Goodin (Artist & Alchemist) and Alice Cowdrey (Felter & Maker). LUMEN hosts exhibitions showcasing artists and makers from the Taranaki region and workshops with a focus on creativity and wellbeing. LUMEN is located on Surf Highway 45, 20km from New Plymouth, 6km south of Oakura and 6km north of Okato. LUMEN is nestled in an idyllic valley beside the Timaru Stream surrounded by native forest and exotic gardens. A plant nursery and sculpture trail are also located on site. The site is a venue for annual outdoor festivals and other community events.
