Mill Town Music Hall

Located inside an old Ingalls store, this place has been transformed into a intimate concert venue..Allowing concert goers to get up close and personal with some great entertainers. The venue is clean, doesn't serve Alcohol, making it very family friendly. The concessions sell plenty of snacks, and drinks and the prices are not outrageous. The venue is fairly small, and popular artist sell out fast. But definitely worth a visit if they are hosting an entertainer you like. If you are not wanting to make a long drive home after a show, there are a few hotels in the area. I stayed at the Quality Inn right next door...room was clean and reasonably priced.

Located out in the country in Eastern Alabama you will be delighted to find this small but interesting winery. Specializing in an Alabama favorite grape, the muscadine, you will treated to a variety of wines some of which have have won awards!

If you like sweeter wines, you will enjoy their selection, which also has some dry wines. Seasonally they offer some local favorites like peach, blueberry and blackberry wines - although they do sell-out quickly.

Wine tastings are complimentary!

Small but mighty museum chock full of local history. Very small admission fee will give you a few hours of yesteryear. Town/county is very proud of their heritage. A few blocks away is their veterans park which is rich with 9/11 memorials and other military memorabilia. Very peaceful town to tour.

Come by for a tasting! Not only will you get to taste a flight of six of our wines ($6) in a relaxed setting, but your server will share tips and stories about each of the wines. Then, choose your favorite and sip a glass at an inside table, on the deck or porch. If the weather is cool, pick a spot by the indoor/outdoor fireplace. All have beautiful views of the Lenoir vineyard.

Lazy River of West Georgia

Reviewed By cowgomooo - Bremen, GA

We took a group of 13 kids and 9 adults down the Tallapoosa River on 13 tubes, 2 double kayaks and a few single kayaks. The river was great! The service was good too. They loaded up our boats, crammed us in a van and the adventure began. From the outfitter to the drop point is maybe a mile. We had a nice lazy float that took about 3 hours. They seemed a little surprised about our group even though we had called, but everything worked out. I suggest calling ahead with more than 10 folks.

A couple of suggestions - They only accept cash, so be prepared.
Bring your lunch and snacks, they have some limited selection. They will provide ice.
There is a old (but still fun) playground while the groups collects.
Kids under 12 must wear a life vest, so if you have one, bring it. Otherwise they will provide you with the big neck floaters.
