Beautiful building, nice outside standing and very nice surroundings. A very peaceful area, everything moving just nice and very, very calm, quite a few shops and coffee shops around and an excellent place to walk around and watch.

to see all the flowers and veggies and sausages and bread and the fruit and the mushrooms the local farmers sell here at this market....the farmers market is located on both sides of the river...we bought some bread and cheese and berries which we had as a snack once we got back to the room and yes we also had a glass of Swiss wine with this feast and it was not even 10:30 am :-))))

I was planning on visiting a christmas market and visited this with the added bonus of seeing the caste first. Reaching there quite early (at noon) allowed us to explore the various shops in the market easily. It was a nice day to walk along the lakeside. The highlights of this market apart from the food, drinks and shops was the 'Flying Santa Claus' who comes once an hour in the evenings. I bought a SBB Montreux ticket which allowed me to get 50% discounted tickets of travel to and from Montreux as well as a discount on the Montreux Noel Mug and vin chaud. I would highly recommend this as I saved money with this and I didn't travel long distances.

Der Flohmarkt am Bürkliplatz in Zürich ist mit eingeschränktem Betrieb offen. Es gibt im Moment keine Tagesanbieter sondern nur Saisonstand-Betreiber, das Angebot ist aber trotzdem vielfältig und attraktiv. Jeden Samstag von 7-17h bis 31. Oktober 2020, ausser 1. August (Nationalfeiertag). Herzlich willkommen.
