Just concluded a brilliant week of skiing and tuition from Lello at Stoked. I started the week as a nervous intermediate skier and finished with new found confidence and much much better technique thanks to Lello’s skill, patience and great sense of humour. I actually enjoyed doing the red runs!

Eskimos Ski School

Reviewed By CarolineB1972 - Preston, United Kingdom

Just returned from a weeks skiing holiday. My confidence in skiing was quite low and my 18 yr old son hadn't been skiing for 4 years. The excellent teaching by James was superb, he built my confidence so much, I managed to ski the whole way down from the revolving restaurant via the black run by the end of the week. My son was skiing so well by the end of the week and loved it so much he's wanting to go back next month and become a ski instructor himself! James taught us so much in a few days and builds confidence so well. Eskimos service was great, so accommodating with how we split out lessons. Definitely recommend them. Thanks James and Eskimos.

We had an amazing time with ES. From my BF not being able to ski at all he is now tackling la chaux. He’s so happy and he wouldn’t have been able to do it without ES looking after us so very well. Also got the nephew proficient from a total beginner too!!!!What a great bunch of talented people. See you next season for sure. Thanks again.

I and my friend had private lessons with Jack over two consecutive days in Zermatt and we could not have been happier. Even though I and my friend were at different levels, Jack managed to keep us both engaged in the lessons and has definitely brought a lot of improvement in our snowboarding skills. He was very easy to talk to, he cared a lot for our safety and comfort on the slopes and he managed to always keep us smiling and positive. I highly recommend him if you want to have an amazing day on the slopes and learn a lot in quite a small amount of time. Looking forward to doing this again!

Performance Verbier Ski School

We started Performance based on one simple principle: when you book a ski lesson you should be guaranteed a great day on the hill. It might seem obvious, but we saw how hard it was to really guarantee that level of service and expertise in big, traditional ski schools. So we built a small team of really experienced ski instructors who knew our resort inside out. Well, it’s an idea that turned out to be really popular, so we’re sticking to the same, simple formula – a small team of experienced ski instructors who we know and trust completely. So you’re always guaranteed the best possible day on the hill.

I cannot recommend Performance enough. I've had lessons with Adam this week. Not only is he the most amazing teacher (he needs to be to take me)... he is one of the nicest guys that you could ever meet. Very funny and very encouraging. He has the patience of a saint, but also gave me the kick up the bum that I needed. Look no further than Performance if you want to learn or improve your skiing.

Highly recommend! It was my first time skiing and JC was so helpful and instructive! He kept the lessons challenging whilst making sure to explain everything carefully & clearly. In just 2 hours I was confident enough to go down a blue slope, & after 4 hours I am completely hooked on the sport! Anyone looking to learn how to ski should definitely request JC! Thank you SO much JC, for the very best first-time skiing experience I could ask for!! Renee

Family Skiing Zermatt

Ski School in Zermatt. Small team of professional ski instructors will make your ski holidays safe and fun.

We booked Janna with only 12 hours notice and we had the most wonderful time. Janna knows Zermatt and all of the ski runs really well and she went to extreme lengths to make sure we not only had the best possible skiying but she also took us to all of the must see points without compromising our ski time. We were a group of 4 3 skiers from starter to intermediate and one who was not skiying at all. Janna catered for all 4 of us in a way that we all got the most possible out of the time she spent with us. Start and finish times were moved to accomodate in any way we wanted. I would have to say we stumbled on Family Skiying by accident but what a luck for us. I will be back alone in March and will not go out any day without Janna. She knows the slopes so well and makes everything work to your ability . Thanks Janna for a wonderful time.

I decided to switch from snowboarding to skiing and took 4 half-day private lessons. Dido was beyond awesome!!!! By the fourth day I extended to a full day and Dido took me on a tour up to the glacier and across to Italy, they were the most amazing runs!! He even booked us lunch at a beautiful Italian restaurant (Chateau Étoiles). After 3 years of group lessons for snowboarding at a different resort and being on my butt most of the time I can’t believe how fast I progressed with private lessons....well worth the money!! 1.5hours into the first lesson we were already off the training area. Communication was fast and very easy via text with Riccardo. Dido was a great teacher, very knowledgeable and passionate. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return one day!!

Great season on the Altitude Futures work and train ISIA course. Brilliant coaches with Sammy and Alex leading the training program catering for all and they really developed my skiing well beyond what I originally expected for taking the BASI level 3 exams at the end of the season. Awesome group of people around and plenty of support throughout with COVID and Brexit happening too. Can’t wait to be back in Verbier next season to hopefully carry on with the Altitude team.
