This is the only military cemetery outside of the US that has the fallen of both wars buried in it. It has a beautiful loggia with statues specifically commissioned to commemorate both WWI and WWII. Lewis Iselin, a professional artist who also commanded the ship that sunk the last German uboat in the Second World War, sculpted Memoire (Memory) for WWII as well as the wall friezes. This site should be visited by all Americans who come to Paris; we come every VE Day to say thank you! Easy to get here on the tram from either Defense or Porte de Versailles. The views of Paris are gorgeous and the Gardens are beautiful but the silent homage to our war dead is the most important!

Le Mémorial du Mont-Valérien fait partie des Hauts lieux de la mémoire nationale, propriété de l’État. Ils sont placés sous la responsabilité du ministère des Armées (DPMA). Leur valorisation est confiée à l'ONACVG.

Fortunately my guide was very knowledgeable on WWII and the French Resistance. The entire monument is an honorable dedication to those French Resistance members that gave their time, energy, and often their lives for France.
Very moving memorial, I highly recommended visiting the nearby American Cemetery and heading back into the city for the L'Arc de Triomphe to give the full effect.

point centrale de la "cité idéale" d' Henri Sellier le batiment est parfaitement intégré dans son environnement.
Pour y accéder un systeme de navette depuis Paris existe.
La programation est plutôt bien même si ce ne sont pas des artistes de premier ordre.

De style roman, cette église a été construite en 1908 par l'architecte Edouard Bérard. A l'intérieur vous pourrez surtout admirer la belle série de 19 vitraux... Une belle petite visite.

This office was close to my hotel and I had a good experience while getting my questions answered. The staff is not very proficient in English though, so some points do get lost in translation.
