Here you will meet the owner of the museum which is very passionate about the history of Sulina. Starting from his childhood at 15 years old riding his horse on the beach he was collecting ships part. Later he invested a lot of energy in collecting local objects and their stories (ships navigation systems, books, postcards, tools, pictures, local traditional clothes and many more). I highly recommend to visit the museum that impressed me a lot.

Sulina Beach

Lovely beach. One part is arranged for classic beach activities, have sunbeds and umbrellas, nice beach bar with few fast food options around. Aside from that, wild part of the beach is much more interesting to explore. Wild horses can be found wandering there and it is a great spot for birdwatching in the morning and sunsets colours in the evening.

Sulina Mixed Cemetery

A window into Sulina's multiethnic past, this cemetery includes graves of Romanian and Russian Orthodox, Greek, Turkish and Jewish inhabitants, all buried within close proximity of one another. A handful of British sailors, who died in the mid-19th century while mapping the delta, are also buried here. The cemetery also features a pirate's grave.
