This our 4th trip in a year and half. We have brought our grandkids as well as just my husband and I. John and Katie are very knowledgeable and just fun to be around. I am glad Looe Key has been able to rebound after Irma. We visited in Nov. 2017 and Katie took us out on the small boat as the canal was in shambles. It was a pleasant surprise to see the great shape the canal was in on 3/16/18. Keep up the good work, you will be seeing us again.

I’ve been out several different times now with Capt. Clint throughout the years and each time has been a different memorable adventure. So far I’ve snorkeled Looe Key Reef, paddle boarded during sunset, tried fishing, relaxed on sandy islands and explored the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge. Since getting to know Clint and exploring the Keys surrounding waters my appreciation for the environment there has grown and I’ve been back each year since. His new pickup location is near Key West, since the hurricane, and I’m looking forward to my next adventure there this summer. I always support local small businesses whenever I can and feel confident that anyone looking for an immersive grassroots tour will be absolutely satisfied choosing Capt. Clint as your one-of-a-kind guide through this uniquely beautiful paradise.

Can’t say enough good things about Captain Mike and our day on the water with him. He is both personable and knowledgeable, and guided us through an incredible day of fishing. He requested specifics on what we would like to do, gave us great options, and we accomplished everything we set out to (caught enough great fish for dinner, but my son lost the tuna he hooked). Highly recommended captain Mike.

I was a Colorado fly fishing guide for 10 years and have been fly fishing for 45 years, so my perspective is different than most reviewers. Fishers who understand the true experience of fishing with a guide know it is the guide that "makes" the trip. It was a real pleasure fishing with Luke for the 3 days we were together. He is the consummate professional, always thinking about the client experience and their safety. And, he cares greatly about his profession and the resource where he gets to go to work everyday. He has tremendous technical and coaching skills, but above all else, he is a personable and knowledgeable individual which makes for great conversations on any topic during those times you are looking for fish. He is one of those people that is just fun to spend time with. During the three days booked we didn't have the weather we hoped for, and it was late in the season for tarpon, but we managed to get two "poons" to the boat the first day, pretty much got stormed out on day two, then one more on day three. Thanks to Luke, bucket list....check! He kept us out an extra two-three hours on day 3 because of the bad weather. Thinking about the client experience at all times. I've fished tarpon in Belize and the Keys and finally have found "my guide." I won't fish with anyone else. If I can't get Luke, I won't go.

I charter Larry White o Native Guidance for our annual girls trip to the lower keys. He is a true native of this area. It is always the highlight of our trip. The area he takes his beach and tour charters to is spectacular. Truly the jewel of the Keys. I have a home in the area and frequently go to these beaches on my own boat and usually see "Captain Larry" there with a charter. No trip to the Keys is complete without getting out on the water and seeing these beautiful mangrove islands. We see sharks, rays, sea turtles etc. along with beautiful birds. The water is crystal clear. This area is truly my favorite part of the Florida Keys.

Sugarloaf Key Bat Tower

Reviewed By tczig - Florida

It was many and many a year ago [in a kingdom by the sea…] there lived a man on Lower Sugarloaf Key who decided he wanted to build a fishing retreat for people (sounds good in theory, right?). He, indeed, built it. But, when the people came, they were devoured by the trillions of mosquitoes that inhabited the Florida Keys. So, he came up with the idea to build a big, giant, gargantuan bat tower and put bats in it so they would eat the mosquitoes (again, sounds good in theory, right?). He did build that giant bat box, but there were no bats. Problem was, you can’t transport bats and the bats that came to the box hated living on the Florida Keys, so they packed up and left (were they crazy? This is a coveted area!) So, now, that big, giant bat box is just one of many must-see roadside stops. It sits out in the middle of nowhere, all alone, without any bats (there is, however, a handsome bird nest on top of it so all is not lost). It is quite spectacular and is just a mile or 2 off the main road through Lower Sugarloaf Key. I highly recommend taking a couple minutes and seeing this bat box. Definitely worth it!
