Beautiful workshop with lovely pieces - I bought two chopping boards, a large straight rolling pin (I will never complain about the pastry being too wide for the rolling pin) and a spurtle. Lovely place to browse and see the items being made

Henty Dunes

These dunes, formed over thousands of years, stretch 15 km along the coastline and reach 7km inland. These 30m high dunes are amazing to see and more amazing to climb up and slide down. Once at the top, there is super fine sand as far as the eye can see. A Must see for the adventurous and only 15 mins out of Strahan tasmania. Entry is free with parking available

Morrisons Huon Pine Saw Mill is without a doubt, the best place to buy a Huon Pine chopping board or other gifts from their well stocked shop on site. Very friendly and obliging and the best variety of things to buy. so glad we didn't wait until we got to the the Huon Valley or Hobart, there was nothing to compare with this .

Hogarth Falls

Reviewed By torib741 - Gosford, Australia

If feeling energetic, you can take the flat walk around the foreshore to Peoples Park then the walk to the falls, There is parking at Peoples park and you can take the easy 40 minute return walk from there. Stunning mid morning with dappled light coming through the dense ferns, highlighting the tanine stained creek. The falls aren't the highlight as the walk itself is so stunning. The falls are gorgeous of course, but enjoy the amble along the way as well

Ocean Beach

Reviewed By dereksF9315SO - Turangi, New Zealand

I was not sure what to expect after visiting a couple of other beaches but was very pleasantly surprised by it’s unspoilt nature. The sand was off white and very fine leading up to low level dunes which were the breeding ground of several bird species.
