Stockport Golf Club

Cheshire's finest parkland golf course offering 18 individually challenging holes. From possibly the toughest opening Par 4 in Cheshire to our Signature hole, the Par 3 8th hole which has seen many Open Qualifying scorecards ruined.

Played Stockport Golf Club with our society and could not have enjoyed it more. A fantastic course with some real challenges. Some beautiful holes with undulating fairways making it really picturesque. Greens were fantastic. Met some members around the course who were all friendly and welcoming. All the lads said how much they enjoyed it and will be looking to book next year as well.

Founded in 1913, Hazel Grove Golf Club is a beautiful and well-appointed Alister MacKenzie parkland course with excellent views over the Cheshire plains. Numerous water hazards, tree lined fairways and true USPGA specification greens provide an enjoyable test of golf all year round. Greens are always in use, we never use temporaries. Our course is recognised by members and visiting parties as a challenging but enjoyable place to play golf. The large spacious Clubhouse provides an excellent place to socialise and relax after your round with a well-deserved drink and excellent food to suit all tastes. It is also available to book for private functions from weddings to anniversaries, christenings to funerals. Visitors and Societies are always welcome and we trust the course and Clubhouse, and the warm welcome you will receive from members and staff alike, will provide you with a memorable and enjoyable experience. We look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Played here this morning for the first time 18/06/20, from driving into the grounds to leaving our overall experience was brilliant! The Staff are extremely friendly and polite. The course is well maintained with good drainage. I hired a buggy which was simple and easy. The course is challenging but also extremely enjoyable and fun which could be enjoyed by all levels. The course offers a lot of variations and obstacles to keep the round exciting. I would certainly recommend playing here without hesitation whatever your level maybe.
