Sozopol (Bulgarian: Созопол, Greek: Σωζόπολις Sozopolis) is an ancient seaside town located 35 km south of Burgas on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Today it is one of the major seaside resorts in the country, known for the Apollonia art and film festival (which takes place in early September) that is named after one of the town's ancient names.

It is easy to find the castle if you know the area, if not bring a navigation/GPS or ask the locals for directions. When you turn from the main road, road is very bad with a lot of potholes and then you must go on a dirty and rocky road to park on a sand in front of the castle. And there are no signs for the castle anywhere. Pity for such a beautiful castle. Price is 10 EUR per person, and 15 EUR if you caught some exhibition. (in our case Tutankhamun) and it was worth it. At the entrance you the knight will great you and take a picture. Later you can buy the pictures and magnet. Very nice. There is also a mini zoo and horse riding school. Also two refreshment stores with no small coins (metal pocket change), so have the exact amount or leave a tip. Toilet is 0.6 EUR (1 BGL). Souvenir machines are not working, again pity. Castle is very beautiful and very photogenic. A lot of fun and lot to explore. We recommend it if you can find it :)

We booked a Localgrapher for a couples shoot in Arizona. The results were okay at best, and we regretted not seeking out an established local in the area. For the price, we received 60 very average choices and the ability to select 35 shots. We couldn’t even find 35 framed correctly. The localgrapher website is also a joke which requires a youtube video to figure out. The UI is terrible and the photos will disappear rapidly so do not wait to download (set aside a couple hours - that’s how bad it is). But really, just avoid. Hire someone directly.

If you are coming to Sofia, make sure you book this tour early in your visit! Elana is a fabulous. tour guide! She started with a short overview of Sofia (over a cup of coffee) and then we started our tour. We visited many beautiful, important and interesting sites.
