It was built by the Genovese merchants on the shores of Lake Razim near Babadag, for military purposes - to defend the center of Dobrogea. Cropped on top of a hilltop with limestone blocks, the fortress is surrounded by a shady landscape shaded by trees. However, you will be enchanted by the fields of limestone, limestone and grotto that you will find it hard to forget. Here you can meet a small forest of pines and only good places to be immortalized. And the channels that connect the two lakes - Babadag and Razim - are very interesting. My husband and I are foodies and took the Bucharest neighborhoods food tour and we loved it! Georgiana met us at the metro station and took us on a short metro ride to two less touristic Bucharest neighborhoods. First of all, Georgiana was an amazing guide, both knowledgeable and fun. She took us to great restaurants, showed us around the neighborhoods and provided us with some background information about Bucharest, Romanian culture and of course the food :-) It felt like being with a good friend. The places she chose were beautiful. They were all places with a history, great interior and athmosphere, providing home made regional delicacies. I won't spoil the surprise, but let me say the food we had was exceptional - Romanian classics and also dishes you cannot easily find somewhere else. Be prepared for a huge amound of food! So you better skip breakfast :-) Finally, I also want to point our that taking the tour as a vegetarian was not a problem at all. We just mentioned it during the booking process, and the shops/restaurant just prepared something vegetarian for me. Big compliment for that!
