South West Rocks Dive Centre

Reviewed By ClarkV62 - Melbourne, Australia

just returned from 4 dives over 2 days with these guys. its was awesome. the cave dive was brilliant, a bit confronting a first but after i got over that i loved it. heaps and heaps of grey nurse sharks cruising around. lots of wobbegongs sharks, crayfish, eels and other fish. and to top it off had 2 sightings of hammerhead sharks (school of 20+). visibility was 20-25m and they were moving fast, so it was only a brief glimpse, but what a thrill !!!
all the guys were a great crew. if you are thinking of going. just do it.

Smoky Cape Lighthouse

We really enjoyed the lighthouse. The views are phenomenal and the nearby trails are quite nice. The walk from the car park to the lighthouse would be a bit tough for a less fit person or a wheelchair. We loved it.

Fish Rock Dive Centre

Reviewed By KerrieAJohnA - Burwood, New South Wales, Australia

I have been diving in many places around the world and Australia and I would rate this dive at Fish Rock as the best experience due to the excellent dive company operators, the amount of sharks and marine life including turtles, large rays, lobsters and abundants of fish life. Plus the experience of a cave of 100 metres. The finishing touch was a free DVD which filmed our dive. John

My wife and I came across SWR Sup and thought we would give it a go. Great value and just a perfect spot with crystal clear waters. Must have gotten good instruction also as somehow I managed to not fall in. Would highly recommend giving this a go!

Maritime Museum South West Rocks

Reviewed By Critique198 - South West Rocks, Australia

Oh what a fabulous place this little museum is. It's jam-packed with not only maritime history but also history about the Trial Bay Gaol and Jerseyville. There are plenty of historical pictures and memorabillia covering the gaol and German internees during WWI. It covers stories about the Macleay River, names all the ships that were sunk in WWII in the area and the house itself has been fully renovated as well as the pilot's cottages and the other boatmen's cottages, which one of them houses the local arts and crafts centre. The volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and the Museum is free entry.
