Reflection on the Polo Valley experience We are a family of 4, with two teenage sons. None of us have ridden horses before. We wanted to find something new to share as a family and the Night trek with Polo Valley ticked all boxes. Tucked behind a dusty dirt road is an oasis of green fields, beautiful buildings, a lake and a level of customer drive second to none. Our bags were whisked off to our sleeping quarters and off we went to get our riding kit on. We met our horses and after a few minutes riding round the polo field, we set off. The ride is a wonderful mix of Andalucian countryside, with amazing views and some exciting water hazards. The horses were so well trained, they were calm and did whatever you directed them to do. The river is exciting, but I will let you find out yourselves! After a few hours riding, you arrive back to Polo Valley and arrive at a spectacular campsite, it is “glamping” rather than “camping”. Drinks and snacks are served to the table, which sits alongside a peaceful lake, with a roaring fire pit. It is a wonderful romantic space and also a great space to share as a family. As the evening progressed, drinks flowed and food was served. The food was a wonderful mix of vegetarian and BBQ food, so much that we could not finish it! We spent the evening star gazing, which was magical. When we woke, we found Breakfast had been laid out for us and we ate together as the sun rose, sipping warm coffee and cups of tea. Life is full of memories and this is one memory we will never forget!

Good tiny town with good restaurants and bars. There are good views of Gibraltar and it's near of Sotogrande, Estepona and some of the "Pueblos Blancos".

The place is amazing, staff very friendly. Beach superb. We spend relaxing Sunday with kids. Only problem is restaurant menu - the prices for street food over priced. For example french fries for kids - 5 EUR but portion was very, very small ( kids 5 years old) And kebab - 18 EUR ( chicken inside was just a little bit and cold).
