Bulgaria is without a doubt one of my favorite places to visit and shoot photos in . The wide open places ,natural lakes ,beautiful mountains and endless landscapes keep me coming back over and over again ...Musala (Bulgarian: Мусала; from Arabic through Ottoman Turkish: Musalla, "near God" or "place for prayer" is the highest peak in the entire Balkan Peninsula, standing at 2,925 m (9,596 ft). The summit of the Rila mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria, Musala is the highest peak between the Alps and the Caucasus and the highest in Eastern Europe bar the Caucasus. With a prominence of 2473 m, Musala is the 7th most prominent mountain peak in Europe (Wikipedia)

What a party to come back to these lovely people in Borovets every year. We have been coming to this ski school for 10 years, which also rents out the best quality ski equipment in the village. Our vacation is not complete with all the service that Snow Masters gives us. The lessons, both group and private, are tailor-made and perfectly match your level. We had three days worth of ski lessons with Ivan Dodov from Hunters Ski School, Ivan is a brilliant ski instructor, he was very patient with our teenage daughter and really helped her over the three days to become a better more confident skier and by the end of the lessons she had improved so much :-). This in turn meant that we could get on with enjoying the skiing lessons instead of having to worry about her. Brilliant instructor.

Very beautiful nature, a lot of things to do like Rila Seven lakes, Rila Monastery, Stobski Pyramides, Borovets Ski Courort and a lot of others. Food in this region is very delicious, people are very nice guestly. But you can see such nature and pure air very rare.

I had a truly wonderful experience for one hour's ride into the snowy wilderness. Oggy was very attentive to us and his horses, and told us all about the wildlife in the forest. As an advanced rider the horses and the trail were great fun, and for my friend who had not ridden for 10 years the horse was kind and easy to ride! It was easy to book, we only had to ask on the morning and he took us for a ride right away! Thank you Horse Riding with Butch :)

SkiBorovets.bg was established by an enthusiastic and experienced team in 2014. In 2016, the company founded its own ski school. More than 10 000 customers per year benefit from the packages, provided with a smile from the company’s team. 1/3 of the equipment in the shop is brand new- 1000 pairs of boots, skis, and boards are purchased before each season. The shop is located in hotel Ela and it has also retail and storage sections with built-in drying available. In stock, there are items for sale for all kinds of winter sports. The ski robot, owned by the shop, repairs 80 pairs of rental equipment per hour. For the guests' free time, we offer many apres-ski activities. Our best-seller is the snowboard taster for those who wish to try the basics of boarding. Borovets offers night skiing and long cross-country tracks and our shop will provide you with everything to experiencing that. Ski& Board Traventuria operates transfers from/to Sofia. You may also benefit them!

Booked transfers, ski hire and private lessons with traventuria. Found this company to be excellent and very good value. Good quality ski equipment and our instructor Tony was amazing particularly with our boys. I also inadvertently made a mistake with the date for our return transfer. They sorted this out quickly and were really lovely about it. Thank you guys.
