My wife and I had the best time renting a boat from Bridgewater Marina and hanging out on the Smith Mountain Lake over 4th of July weekend. Everyone we interacted with at Bridgewater Marina was super helpful and friendly. The boat itself was very comfortable and worked great. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely rent again from Bridgewater Marina. John S.

Our family of 5 chose this adventure at Spring Valley Farm to enjoy while we were visiting my parents at Smith Mountain Lake. The staff (Shelley) gave a warm welcome from the first email we exchanged - the warm, friendly atmosphere carried all the way to the very end of our 2-hour adventure. Our guide, Mo, was absolutely amazing; he was very knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and friendly. Lindsay, our back-up guide, was an enjoyable young lady. Mo made sure that our horse's personality matched each rider - and did a great job (especially for my husband - whose horse was stubborn and wanted to eat ... all the time!!) In addition to this farm having trail rides (which were not just nose to butt - you could gallop and/or take certain liberties, depending upon your skill level), they have some beautiful animals including 2 ZORSES (horse/zebra breed), a camel, a miniature horse (very chubby!), a pig, and many other fun sights! We will definitely go back during our next visit to SML! Thank you, SVF for the wonderful memories!
