Leschenault Waterways Discovery Centre & Jetty Walk

Hubby and I had a wonderful vist to the centre and walk along the jetty. We saw over 160 beautiful black swans in the estuary plus a stunning eagle sitting up in tree. We thought we were looking at a couple of fish but on closer inspection we realized it was a magnificent stingray.

Harvey Internment Camp Memorial Shrine

It made me sad to read the stories of the Italians interned at Harvey during the war - just because they were Italian. We need to have these stories told so we can learn from history

Stirling Cottage

Reviewed By rozb418 - Williams, Australia

Stopped for lunch on a stinking hot day. The room we were in was quite cool thanks to the thick homestead walls.. I had the Veg burger. Mushroom camenbert cheese caramelised onions and salad. Served with tasty sweet potato chips. It was wonderful. I think new owners have taken charge. Everyone liked their meals. The s&p squid was generous and very tasty. We visit harvey reg. Will stop again. Great experience
