We spent a lovely day together with Ava, starting with a walking-tour around the markets where she explained different foods and spices, to a local lunch at a beautiful old traditional house, followed by the very interesting and fun cooking class in her lovely house, located just outside Shiraz and finally eating the four different dishes we cooked together in her beautiful garden. It truly is an amazing and fun experience!! Ava's English is perfect and she is very knowledgable about everything to do with Persian food and culture. I highly recommend you to do a culinary tour and cooking class with Ava when you are in Shiraz! It was definitely one of our high-lights of our Iran trip!!
