Senggigi is the main tourist strip of the Indonesian island of Lombok, stretched out along several kilometers of the beachfront just to the north of the capital, Mataram. The site of a building frenzy in the late 1990s when Lombok was hyped to be the next Bali, the communal violence of 2000 and the 2002 Bali bombing dealt Senggigi a severe blow, with tourist numbers declining precipitously and many construction projects halted.

We had a great experience, tour was well organized and smooth (3 gilis snorkeling tour). Our tour was led by Mr. Aswan, who was excellent in every way. He is funny' outgoing, and considerate, he made the long drive full of fun and definitely made the tour above and beyond. Very enjoyable, definitely recommend.

Super mooie omgeving. Hele mooie tuin en echt een paradijs. Vooraf lekker in een jacuzzi gezeten en daarna is mijn vrouw gemasseerd. Ik heb een uur gewacht tot mijn vrouw klaar was en in de tussentijd heb ik niemand gezien die mij wat te drinken aanbood. Dit had ik bij binnenkomst gevraagd, maar dit waren ze vergeten door miscommunicatie in de staf. Geen probleem verder want daarna nog een lekkere kop thee gehad en een verse juice gedronken.
Wat een mooie omgeving en vriendelijke staf!
Wat ik eerder in mijn feedback geschreven heb is de prijs. Vantevoren wordt er een prijs genomen en daarbij gezegd dat je 10% korting krijgt. Later mag je over het hele bedrag nog eens 21% betalen en bij een groot bedrag kan dat in de papieren lopen.

Spent a day on this Gili as it was the LebaranTopat festival in Lombok on 2 July 2017.
Didn't make prior arrangements as not aware of the festive going on the weekend we are in Lombok for the first time.
Some travel sites with good reviews were not keen to do any trips on this weekend.
The resort we were staying in also could not make arrangement for us on such short notice.
Fortunately , we chanced upon Lombok Fun Travel.
Not only we arranged a private tour, but we had a most wonderful time with Mr.Rivaan.
In short, he was most accomodative , speaks very good English, and gave us his utmost attention.
Took underwater photos for us with his camera.
We were very happy with his service.
Best value for service.

it is volcanic beach so don't expect white or golden send, at some spots you can see volcanic rocks as well. beach itself is not so wide, so hard a few meters from your hotel to the water, but the slope is quite steep to let the water go up to the hotel, and take makes walking along the coast a bit difficult.
Also watch out for tiny sand crabs, plenty of them here.

My guide Huda was very friendly and knowledgable, he recommended very good places for dining & sightseeing. He also knows the local people well so he kept us safe. He's always on time and knows the roads well so we always get to our destinations efficiently.

Some may find it quite confusing because this place has a few names. Some called it Pantai tiga, Pantai telu and many even more familiar with Villa hantu beach because of the abandoned villa on this beach.
We went there during our stay at the Holiday Resort Lombok. This beautiful beach is situated only 5 minutes drive from our hotel. Quite, peaceful, lots of coconut trees and very instagramable. That is what this place has to offer. Could've been a better destination if there are any eateries and activities in this area.

Had a great session with my friend and the instructor (unfortunately I cant remember her name). She has just set up the place, started in June. Its very personal and small, a great place to go do yoga if you're beginners like us. The owner is so nice, we talked a while before and after and she gave us some recommendations for restaurants and other things in the area. Its a shame we leave tomorrow, otherwise we would have gone again! Thank you for the great session! :)

This place is a photogenic spot during the sunset. Don’t expect a lot of things to do here as it’s just small temple by the seaside. After you’re done, you could head over to the bars by the coast and relax. You’ll find locals selling coconuts and food before the entrance of the temple. Dress decently if you plan on heading there.

My friends and I booked Rinjani tour with Lombok Picnic.
We decided to book with them because they provide us very good information with a fast response to any of our inquiries.
Unlike other companies, which will ask us to do this instead of that, LP will just suggest the best options, and let us decide the choice we want. I think it's very flexible for customers. My friends and I are very happy about it.
As tourists, we're keen to know about this and that. LP has never ignored us once. They will make sure that we get the answers in time and make our trip easier.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our climb for some reasons. We then decided to explore Lombok instead. They were still willing to help us finding accommodation on our first day in Lombok, suggesting us where to see with proper route, although we haven't travelled with them.
I'd like to suggest this Lombok Picnic to you all who are traveling or planning to travel to Lombok. You'll never regret choosing them. I promise.
