Small and focused ... a nicely put together collection of the Hobbs-area cowboy history. A non-sequator we enjoyed was the Titanic exhibit, complete with film. The museum enjoys a lot of local support, and it shows.

Just a note about my trip to West Texas Adventures. I found Mark to be very knowledgable about his animals and they are in good shape. My wife and I agree the taste of the fallow deer is exceptional. Yes it is a canned hunt, so don't expect hunting blinds or feeders. I enjoyed the no- nonsense hunt, received good service from Mark and can't wait to go back next year. Don Barber

As others have commented, because the casino allows smoking indoors, the tobacco smell hits you as soon as you walk in. The ventilation system needs an overhaul. Sadly, there is not a non-smoking room for those that don't smoke. Zia Park is a typical casino where you win some, lose some. But overall, a fun place if you like to take a gamble once in a while.

This jeweler is turning out quality work you would expect in a big city but with the honesty and integrity you get from a small town! I was greeted by Jerry's wife when I came in and she knew so much about the gemstones I was looking for, I could have sworn she went to school to run this business. Little did I know, Jerry (Jerb) did infact go to school and is a Gemologist. They took the time to search for the exact stone I needed so that I could keep my great-grandmother's ring with a new center stone and after he finished setting the stone I was almost in tears. My great-grandmothers ring is more beautiful than I could ever have imagined.
Honestly, I would trust this couple with anything. I could tell that they are genuinely good people with a heart for what they are doing. I highly recommend stopping in Jerb's even if you don't need custom work done. They have a great selection of retail as well.

Great place to learn or just get away. The manager Andrew was really helpful and corteous. This would be a great place to purchase original art and help support your local budding artist.
